Carrie has co-written 21 books for three bestselling children’s book series (The Cupcake Club, Fashion Academy (Sourcebooks) and Ask Emma (Bonnier). She has also co-written scripts for three Off-Broadway musicals: New York Musical Festival’s Peace, Love and Cupcakes: The Musical, This Way To Broadway: Spring Fling and This Way To Broadway: Jingle Jam.

Her solo debut book My Real-Life Rom-Com was released on September 19, 2023 and peaked at No. 1 in the Dating & Intimacy category on Amazon. It was also named a Barnes & Noble bestseller within 24 hours of its pre-order launch.

My Real-Life Rom-Com is a guide through the ups and downs of teen love, intimacy, and coming of age in a social media–infused world. Carrie shares her dating adventures (and misadventures) to help you discover more about yourself and the relationship you deserve. The book is packed with humor and advice that takes the edge off uncomfortable conversations. Through Carrie’s unflinchingly honest stories, you’ll learn how to get over your first breakup; understand the art of the “situationship;” make smart, not impulsive decisions; and ultimately love yourself before loving someone else.

Her upcoming book Mindfire is a road map for anyone struggling with their mental health. Studies show that millennials and Gen Z-ers are two of the most anxious generations in history: approximately 50 percent of adults ages eighteen to twenty-four suffer from anxiety. Mindfire takes readers along on the emotional journey that is growing up, and offers insight on the anxiety that comes with it. The book is a raw and vulnerable exploration into the parts of being in your twenties that aren’t always pretty. Carrie, who was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and OCD at eighteen, shares intimate diary entries that unveil what it’s like learning to cope in her adulting era. Anxiety can make you question your core beliefs and leave you more confused than ever. Berk shows how there is hope, happiness, and strength to be found in forging your path forward.

Mindfire is available for pre-order now and will be released on May 13, 2025.
